Crafted by the spirited ladies from Flores de Villa outside of Lima, Peru, these beautiful, intricate chainmaille* bracelets are made by hand. Partnering with these ladies, we have the opportunity to share in the creation of jewelry that is not merely pretty but that empowers women to provide for their families.
You can choose one of our sterling silver charms (Willow Tree, Cross, or Dove) to go on your very own Flores de Villa Warrior Bracelet.
Each silver-plated bracelet is about 7" long and comes with a sterling silver charm (1/2") and a freshwater pearl. Comes boxed.
*What is chainmaille? Merriam-Webster defines it as: "a kind of protective clothing (called armor) that is made up of many tiny metal rings that are linked together and that was worn by knights and soldiers in the Middle Ages." The ladies from Peru who make the bracelet chains for us call themselves ‘Mostacillas de Fe,’ which in Spanish means ‘Beads of Faith.’ And while these bracelets are not suits of armor, they can help us remember that our faith is a kind of armor we put on everyday.
